Imagine Health - a new project!	Scrap Mettle SOUL successful visit to UK

We have been making resources in the Internet more widely available by brokering a trial of public access kiosks supplied by Stone Telecom in Burger King Peckham. Access to us, community, jobs, local news and healthy living information are a screen touch away from the burger queue. We heartily support Southwark Primary Care Trust's In Touch with Health initiative using kiosks in public places including the foyer of Peckham Pulse.

Members of the Design Team have just re-visited the Imagine Chicago Project in the USA.

Imagine Peckham has been set up under the umbrella of Imagine Southwark for stakeholders including residents, service providers, business communities, and the voluntary sector to Imagine how they would ideally like Peckham to be, based on the best of what is already happening and together create their ideal place.

We ran the first event, a one day workshop in Peckham, in February 2002 attended by young people and other key stakeholders. Since then we have been forging links with other voluntary groups and potential business partners.
